Step 1 - Start the Cheetah DVD Maker by clicking on the Desktop Icon.

 

Step 2 - Select the type of DVD that you would like make. For this tutorial we will select the bottom one, a Slide Show DVD.

 

Step 3 - Click the “Add Items” button to select the Pictures and Video that you would like to add to the DVD

Step 4 - If you would like to add music to your slide show click the “Add Background Music” button

 

 

Step 5 - Next select the music or audio that you would like to add to your slide show.

 

Step 6 - If you live in Europe or a country that supports PAL DVD players, click the options link to change this option. The default video setting for this program is NTSC.

Also if you added images to your DVD you can change the display time in the options panel.

 

Step 7 - Now that you have added you video files, it is time to make the DVD Menu. Click the “Next” button to continue on to the menu screen. The menu screen has many different options to customize the menu screen.

In the menu below I used the text menu (the second one) and used a picture for the background image. By clicking the “Menu Back Image” link

 

Step 8 - When you are ready to make the Video DVD, click the “Burn” button to start the process. Have fun!

 

Note: Depending on you computers memory and processor power the conversion process can take anywhere from a few minutes to a few hours. The video conversion requires a lot of computing power. It doesn’t hurt to try a small video first to get an idea of how long it may take.
