A DVD is composed of Titles and Chapter.
Titles are one whole video that can be divided into smaller sections called chapters.
But a DVD can also contain many titles.
DVD Titles
When you start the Cheetah DVD Maker
and select the first option (the top radio button that allows 150 minutes) the program will add all of your videos as titles. When this option is selected all the videos
will play sequentially until they are finished. They will also allow forward skipping
to the next title, some but not all DVD players will allow backward skipping between
titles. Fast-forward and backing up is allowed in the individual titles.
The advantage of selecting this option
is that you can add more time, it will finish quicker, and it takes less computing
power than the slide show option.
DVD Chapters and slide shows
When you select the slide show option
the Cheetah DVD Maker will add all of your pictures and videos as one tile, and
add chapters between each video clip and picture. The advantage of this is that
you will have better navigation, and can skip forward and backward between the video
clips and have fast-forward and reverse navigation. This option is more computing
intensive and some older computers may have trouble for larger slide shows, because
all the video clips and pictures are compiles into one large video before they are
add to the DVD.
Note: if you add music to the slide
show the chapters will be removed but fast-forward and reverse navigation is allowed.
